Top Ai Companies and The World’s 9 Most Significant AI Businesses

AI is getting better, and machine learning will be an important part of our technological future whether we like it or not. The world’s biggest and best companies know this, so they invest a lot of money into AI.

Here is my list of the top AI companies with the power and resources to shape our digital ecosystem. There are a few big names in artificial intelligence.

top AI companies

Amazon

Amazon, a big business, has put money into both AI for consumers and businesses and their processes. Alexa, the company’s artificial intelligence (AI) language assistant built into its echo speaker series, is well-known worldwide. Amazon Web Services (AWS), a set of active machine learning and AI services for already trained businesses, hasn’t done much so far. AWS has more than 10,000 customers. Siemens, Netflix, Tinder, the NFL, and NASA are among them.

Apple

Apple has been buying up AI start-ups recently and sees AI as an important part of its future. After Google hired John Giannandrea away, the company made it official in December 2018 that he would be in charge of the AI and Machine Learning department. He will ensure that products like Siri and the company’s new Create ML tool, which can be used by macOS and iOS developers to make easy-to-use training courses for their apps, are made.

Banjo

Banjo was started in 2013 after the bombings at the Boston Marathon, which were very sad. The start-up uses AI to search social media for events and situations that are happening now and could help emergency services and other organizations work faster and smarter. Investors such as SoftBank, a Japanese leader in telecom, have raised more than $120 million for the company.

DJI

DJI, the first Chinese company on the list, is still considered a start-up, but it has already been valued at $15 billion. The company has more than 70% of the global drone market and is increasingly involved in the AI market. The newest drones can avoid things by using AI and image recognition. Soon, you can expect a start in self-driving cars and robots. Microsoft and DJI have just started working on a project to stream video from drones to computers.

Facebook

The power of artificial intelligence will increase in the future. So it shouldn’t be surprising that Facebook is investing money into AI. Facebook’s AI research group, FAIR, wants to move the field of machine intelligence forward and create new technologies that make it easier for people to talk to each other. Mark Zuckerberg and his team worked, among other things, on a platform for negotiating with two AIs named Alice and Bob. Still, the project was over when the couple started talking in their secret language.

Google

It may be obvious that the most important and biggest AI company is Google. Google has bought AI start-ups like there won’t be any more coming out soon. In the last four years, Mountain View has started fewer than twelve new companies working with artificial intelligence. The $400 million deal for DeepMind, the champion in the board game Go, was the most important purchase.

There is also Ai/machine system TensorFlow, which is now free for everyone, and the Tensor AI chip project, which is still going on. Both of these help the device learn how to use machines. Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google, has already said that in the long run, the computer industry is “moving from a mobile-first to an ‘AI first’ world.” The statement itself says everything Google plans to do shortly.

HiSilicon

When Richard Yu, the CEO of Huawei, showed off the Kirin 980 at IFA 2018 in Berlin, there was a lot of competition. HiSilicon, which makes chips for Huawei, has improved the second generation of the world’s first AI smartphone chip. Face recognition, machine vision, image segmentation, and smart translation are some things that the Kirin 980 can do quickly. There are now a lot of AI chips for smartphones because of this chip, and if a company wants to improve the technology in the next few centuries, it probably will.

IBM

Since the 1950s, the multinational tech company IBM has been working on AI. Artificial intelligence was created with help from this company, and they are still committed to it today. IBM made Watson, a machine learning platform that can add AI to business processes, like building a chatbot for customer service. Big Four Auditor, KPMG, and Bradesco, one of Brazil’s largest banks, are all clients.

Intel

Intel has also been on a buying spree regarding artificial intelligence companies. It has bought Nervana, Movidius, and a few smaller AI start-ups. Nervana lets companies make their deep learning software, and Movidius started to bring Ai systems to devices that don’t work as well as they should. Microsoft and Intel also work together to speed up AI for the Bing search engine
